Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. This page explains the process, what data is deleted, and the timeline.

1. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:

Navigate to Settings → Account → Delete Account within the platform

When submitting a deletion request via email, please include the email address associated with your WAgent account so we can verify your identity.

2. What Data Is Deleted

Upon processing your deletion request, we will permanently delete the following data:

Account Information

Your name, email address, authentication credentials, and organization details

chat

WhatsApp Data

Connected WhatsApp Business profile information, message history, and webhook data

group

Contact Data

All contact groups, imported contact lists, and associated phone numbers

campaign

Campaign Data

Campaign configurations, message templates, scheduling data, and analytics

psychology

AI Agent Data

Agent configurations, uploaded knowledge base documents, conversation logs, and system prompts

payments

Billing Data

Subscription records and usage history (Stripe retains payment processing records per their own policy)

3. Data We May Retain

In certain cases, we may retain limited data after your deletion request:

  • Legal obligations: Data required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal proceedings
  • Fraud prevention: Records necessary to prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, or protect the security of our platform
  • Aggregated data: Anonymized, non-identifiable usage statistics that cannot be traced back to you

4. Deletion Timeline

Acknowledgment (within 48 hours)

We acknowledge receipt of your deletion request and verify your identity.

Processing (within 15 days)

Your account is deactivated and data deletion begins across all systems.

Completion (within 30 days)

All personal data is permanently deleted from our primary systems and backups. You will receive a confirmation email.

5. Third-Party Data

Please note that data shared with third-party services during your use of WAgent is subject to their own data retention and deletion policies:

  • Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API): Messages delivered through WhatsApp are subject to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy
  • Stripe: Payment records are retained by Stripe per their compliance requirements
  • DeepSeek:AI processing data sent during your usage is subject to DeepSeek's data handling policies

6. Facebook / Meta Data Deletion

If you connected your WhatsApp Business account to WAgent through Meta's Embedded Signup, you can also request data deletion directly through Facebook:

  • Go to your Facebook App Settings
  • Find WAgent in the list of connected apps
  • Click "Remove" to revoke access and trigger a data deletion request

When you remove WAgent from your Facebook app settings, we will receive a deletion callback and process the removal of all associated data within 30 days.
